Hey,
As you all may not know, I am a firm supporter in the illegal immigration movement. It may be considered 'illegal' to us now, but was it illegal when Christopher Colobus or John Smith came over to the Americas. No, they are taught to our children (and me) as our discoverers and heros of the United States past. At one point or another our ancestors immigrated to the land now known as the United States of America, and as you all know ( I hope) the Native Americans were here first. Whether they had a government or not, they lived here long before we have. I do call myself 'American' as do lots of others, even though we are not Native American, and I can not begin to say that I feel for the loss of the Native Americans, but I can say that we as a country can rise up and welcome all. No matter a persons race, religious beliefs, cultural or language difference we are all human beings and this is our planet! So, why consider it an illegal action to come to this country, it should be considered a migration of a people! A century ago, that is all it was considered, and our doors were open. For example, we do not consider the Irish migration as an illegal action by a entire people, hell more than a third of Americans have some Irish blood in them (Jeopardy) if not more.
It is late and I must go to bed. So, I will say more of my thoughts later but here please watch this ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=HyzMOcjITvI&feature=PlayList&p=4D00BB8C9BE37DB2&index=7) and other videos on www.youtube.com/9500liberty
